FIX A 'INSTALLATION OF PACKAGES FROM NOT AUTHENTICATED SOURCES' ERROR IN UBUNTU 11 10
The first thing i did after i bought my first laptop was altering it to dual-boot with windows 7 and Ubuntu. I established Ubuntu 11 10. Now inside hours i revised my Ubuntu with couple of software's likes vlc, shotwell, wine. Later on that week i found couple of revisions for my ubuntu. It had revisions for chrome, ffmeg, some revisions on scheme utility too.
But when i try to establish updates it display up note
"the action would need the setting up of packages from not authenticated sources in ubuntu 11.10"
I sought few Ubuntu forums and blogs, and found this simple solution. Which i share with my readers underneath.
In Ubuntu section, bang activities > submissions> update supervisor
2) Look for the settings in base of revise supervisor, bang.
3)On the programs causes window, bang on the Ubuntu programs tab.
4)Under Downloadable from the Internet, put a ascertain on Source cipher.
5) Close the window and the alterations will be applied.
6) On revise supervisor, bang on Install revises.
After ascertaining 'Source code' (which was not checked in my case) The mistake did not display up again.
wish this works for you too.
Let me understand, it worked for you or propose me any other method.
